Rosen Decorators has been a fixture in New Jersey for over seven decades. What began on Central Avenue as a small, family-owned storefront has grown into a multi-generational business that continues to delight customers today.
Founder Zadie Rosen established the original store that would become a Jersey City landmark in 1946. For over 50 years, the business flourished in its Central Avenue location. Nearly thirty years later, Rosen moved to its expanded current location, but customers still come in and reminisce about the original store.
Rosen Decorators is a story of family commitment. Norman Rosen, Zadie’s grandson, carries forward the family business. His son-in-law, Jay, has dedicated over 30 years to the store. Now, the fifth generation—Jay and Emily’s sons Brian and Matthew—are joining the family enterprise, helping in the store and carrying on the tradition.
